FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: method of density measurement consists in full submersion of a physical body with certain weight, volume and magnetic properties into a measured medium, and its exposure to a magnetic field. Besides, exposure of the physical body to the magnetic field is carried out in the measured medium in the place of body location. At the same time the value and direction change by means of the controlled change of the physical parameter. Besides, prior to start of measurement the value of this physical parameter is such that the body takes the position of the stable rest in the entire range of density measurement, and as the above physical parameter changes in process of measurement, this position of rest becomes unstable, and the body in a step-wise manner changes into a new position of stable rest at a certain value of this physical parameter, recorded at the moment of this transition. Besides, unique functional dependence, at the moment of this transition, between the value of the physical parameter and density of the measured medium makes it possible to determine the value of medium density according to the recorded value of the physical parameter.EFFECT: possibility to measure density in reservoirs along entire height of available level of liquids and gases.7 cl, 2 dwg |
