PURPOSE: A composition for preventing or curing optical damage of skin is provided to use as medicine, food, or cosmetic for preventing or curing optical damage of skin due to ultraviolet ray. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or curing optical damage of skin comprises cilostazol or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutically acceptable salt is an organic acid selected among oxalic acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid and benzoic acid, or an acid addition salt formed by an inorganic acid selected among hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and hydrobromic acid. The optical damage of skin is due to UV irradiation. The optical damage of skin is chronic optical damage selected between photoaging and skin cancer, or acute optical damage selected between optical burn and pigmentation. |
