FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics and can be applied in recovering active forearm flexion in patients with severe form of arthrogryposis. Method lies in transposition of pectoralis major muscle together with pectoralis minor muscle on common vascular nervous bundle into position of biceps brachii. Monopolar transposition is performed. Distal part of pectralis major muscle, consisting of sterno-costal, costal and abdominal portions is used.EFFECT: application of the claimed invention makes it possible to recover active flexion in elbow joint in efficient way, as well as eliminate formation of severe flexion contracture in elbow joint.6 dwg, 1 ex
