PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device which can elongate a tie bar as desired and does not require machining the whole tie bar.SOLUTION: A clamping device for a two-platen injection molding machine includes a movable mold platen (9), a stationary mold platen, and a tie bar (1) connected therebetween, with the movable mold platen (9) being movable along the tie bar (1). The clamping device further includes a connecting structure that is used to detachably connect an elongating tie bar (2) to a rear end of the tie bar (1). The tie bar can be elongated as desired, and this invention dispenses with the labor of re-machining the whole tie bar. Therefore, the tie bar can be elongated conveniently, and thereby the productivity is increased and the production cost is lowered. |
