PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll fluid machine capable of being manufactured by using fine ceramic of high Young's modulus in a driven scroll, and preventing deformation due to a centrifugal force in accompany with rotation of the driven scroll.SOLUTION: In the scroll fluid machine 1 including a driving scroll 2 having at least one spiral lap 8, 9, and the driven scroll 3 having at least one lap 33, 34 engaged with the spiral lap 8, 9 of the driving scroll 2 and defining a compression space, relatively revolving the driving scroll 2 and the driven scroll 3 while rotating, and sucking, compressing and discharging a fluid by gradually reducing the compression space from outer peripheries of the driving scroll 2 and the driven scroll 3 toward a center, a base material of the driven scroll 3 is made of fine ceramic, a cutting layer of a prescribed thickness is formed on a surface of the base material of the driven scroll 3, and the cutting layer is cut and polished to configure the final shape of the driven scroll 3. |
