PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support mat capable of preventing a temperature rise, which can exert excellent vibration absorption performance while avoiding a decrease in strength of the mat by suppressing heat generation associated with vibration absorption during earthquakes.SOLUTION: A support mat, which includes a main pole, suppresses a temperature rise of the main pole or the whole mat by a coolant infilled into the main pole. Vibrations caused by the earthquakes are effectively absorbed by alternately arranging a plurality of first material layers and a plurality of second material layers, which can be curved or deformed, between support plates installed at both ends of the main pole, respectively. |
