PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing apparatus capable of obtaining large binding force without an increase in size.SOLUTION: A paper sheet processing apparatus comprises: a feed section on which a plurality of paper sheets P is placed; a take-out mechanism for taking out the plurality of paper sheets P from the feed section; an inspection device for inspecting the paper sheets P taken out; a stack device for stacking the paper sheets P inspected for each predetermined number of paper sheets P; and a bundle device that winds bands around paper sheet bundles stacked and bundles the paper sheet bundles. The bundle device comprises: a clamp mechanism 160 that presses both sides of the paper sheet bundles stacked and bends the paper sheet bundles; a band winding device that winds binding bands around the paper sheet bundles bent and tightens the binding bands; and a heater 180 that heats and seals ends of the binding bands wound. The clamp mechanism 160 has a press member 160a that can adjust a bend degree of the paper sheet bundles. |
