<p>An elevator device, wherein opening of elevator car doors (21) is detected by way of an elevator car door opening detector (25), and opening of landing doors (23a to 23d) is detected by way of a plurality of landing door opening detectors (24a to 24d). Moreover, the fact that an elevator car (9) has descended a prescribed distance or greater from a landing location on the landing floor is detected by way of a plurality of elevator car descent detectors (28a to 28d). An elevator car governor (16) is coupled to an elevator car emergency stop device (15) by way of an elevator car governor rope (17). The elevator car governor (16) is provided with an elevator car governor operation actuator (52) to hold the elevator car governor rope, in accordance with the detection status of the elevator car door opening detector (25), landing door opening detectors (24a to 24d), and elevator car descent detectors (28a to 28d), by way of the elevator car governor (16).</p> |
