Abstract A Retractable Pergola Awning with a weather shielding fabric tensioned system for shade protection with multiple solar cell panels incorporated to the Awning system. The Awning is comprised of Posts, Gutter, Rafter Bars and Tensioned Fabric Skin. Multiple solar cell panels are put on sliders attached to the top of each Rafter Bars one on top of each other. As the Tensioned Fabric Skin is extended to provide shade, the Front Puller Bar will pull the solar cell panel into open position to generate"Green" electricity, not only to operate the Awning System but also to run appliances inside the home.
