PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detector capable of evenly irradiating a distant object with light of a plurality of different wavelengths.SOLUTION: Light emitted from a plurality of LEDs 11a and 11b different in wavelengths is radiated inside a closed space 17 formed by a scattering plate 12 and a convex surface reflecting mirror 13, and with the light reciprocating a plurality of times between the convex surface reflecting mirror 13 and the scattering plate 12, the light of the plurality of wavelengths is uniformly mixed and converged on the scattering plate 12. Then, the mixed light emitted from the scattering plate 12 is condensed by a CPC 14 installed close to the scattering plate 12, and a light flux whose energy density is enhanced is wide-angle radiated from an output terminal of the CPC 14. Further, the radiation light is reflected toward the object by a parabolic mirror 15 as parallel light coaxial with a center axis L of an observation sensor 16, and the reflection light from the object is observed by the observation sensor 16. |
