PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiviral composition having a sufficient inactivation effect on a virus regardless of the presence or absence of an envelope, immediate effectivity, and a stable anti-virus effect during a long-term storage.SOLUTION: The antiviral composition contains fine particles of a monovalent copper compound, a reductant, and a dispersion medium, and the pH of the antiviral composition is 6 or less. In the antiviral composition, the fine particles of a monovalent copper compound is of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a chloride, an acetic acid compound, a sulfide, an iodide, a bromide, a peroxide, an oxide, and a thiocyanide. |
