A method for acquiring multiple images of objects, the method includes: longitudinally transferring objects through multiple tunnels of a first, second third and fourth longitudinal transferors to first, second and fourth imaging areas and rotating the object about their longitudinal axis between imaging areas; acquiring images of first, second, third and fourth sides of the object at the first, second, third and fourth imaging areas respectively; wherein at least one longitudinal transferor has a movable portion that when placed in a certain position exposes at least a substantial portion of at least one tunnel. |
