The present invention relates to a brass plated steel sheet manufacturing method and, more specifically to a brass plated steel sheet manufacturing method comprising of: a first plating step which plates a pretreated steel sheet with one among copper and zinc; a second plating step which plates the steel sheet from the first plating step with the remaining one among copper and zinc, excluding the one selected in the first plating step; and a thermal treatment step which diffuses and thermally treats the steel sheet from the second plating step.
