PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device that can obtain good signal quality and enables stable signal detection without deformation of a light guide plate even when an environment is changed.SOLUTION: A coordinate input device 3A includes: a device body including a tabular light guide member 10, light sources for making light incident on the light guide member, at least two light-receiving means, and detection means for detecting coordinates of a position of a touch to the surface of the light guide member by a body to be detected on the basis of output from the light-receiving means having detected light propagated into the light guide member when the body to be detected touches the surface of the light guide member; and a frame member 9 provided at an edge portion of the light guide member in the device body. The device body is provided with a relaxation member 14 that relaxes stress produced on the frame member by expansion and contraction of the light guide member and that changes relative positions of the device body and the frame member. |
