PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device that suppresses generation of KTC noise while limiting the number of data contacts.SOLUTION: The detection device includes: a substrate having a plurality of pixels (101) arranged in a matrix and adapted to generate pixel signals, a plurality of drive lines (104a,b) each connected in common to a plurality of pixels in a row and juxtaposed in a column direction, a plurality of data lines (105) each connected in common to a plurality of pixels in a column and juxtaposed in a row direction, connecting terminals (119) smaller in number than the data lines, and a multiplexer section (131) disposed between the connecting terminals and the data lines; a reading circuit having reset switches for supplying a constant potential to the connecting terminals, and connected to the connecting terminals; a driving circuit adapted to perform drive control of the plurality of pixels; and a controlling circuit adapted to supply control signals to the substrate and the reading circuit. |
