The injection device proposed has a base (19) and an injection head (18), the injection head (18) including an injection device (12, 16) with an actuator (15) designed to inject a liquid from a reservoir. The distance between the base (19) and the injection head (18) is such that, when an injection is made, the magnetic field of the magnetic-resonance tomograph is lower at the base (19) than at the injection head (18). Fitted to the base (19) as the drive for the injection device (12, 16) is an electric motor (5). In addition, transmission elements (9, 7, 14) are fitted for the drive for the injection device (12, 16) between the motor (5) and the injection device (12, 16). The electric motor (5) fitted to the base (19) is surrounded by a housing (2, 3) which acts as a screen to contain magnetic fields of the magnetic-resonance tomograph.
