PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device that shortens the period of detecting an operation input.SOLUTION: The detection device includes a detection section 30 for detecting, from a panel (10) in which an electromagnetic change occurs in the position where an object of detection is in contact with or in proximity to a detection surface, a signal Vs depending on the electromagnetic change. The detection section 30 has delay elements 35 connected in series, and outputs data depending on delayed data (out1 to out64) from the respective delay elements 35 based on the signal Vs input thereinto, as data determinative of whether or not there is contact with or proximity to the detection surface. |
