PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dentifrice granules with excellent feelings in use, a dentifrice containing thereof, and a method for producing the dentifrice granules.SOLUTION: There are provided [1] dentifrice granules containing a water-insoluble powder material, zinc compound, and silicate, the silicate being at least one or two kinds selected from sodium silicate and potassium silicate, in the granules the content of zinc being 0.5 to 7 mass%, the content of silicate being 3 to 60 mass%, and the average wet collapse strength of the granules being 31 to 90%, [2] a dentifrice containing the dentifrice granules, and [3] a method of producing dentifrice granules comprising the steps of: (1) adding an aqueous solution of silicate to a mixture containing a water-insoluble powder material and zinc compound and giving a granulation treatment thereto; and (2) drying the granules obtained thereby. |
