PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device for reducing energy loss that occurs when a rotation speed difference is created between two rotator.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 101 comprises: a double rotor type motor 30 including a first rotor 31 that is coupled to an engine 10 and includes a first winding 31b, a second rotor 32 that is coupled to a drive shaft 82 and includes a first permanent magnet 32b and a second permanent magnet 32c, and a stator 33 that includes a second winding 33b; inverters 21 and 22 and a battery 23 for supplying an AC power to the double rotor type motor 30; a clutch 50 that couples and decouples the engine 10 and the first rotor 31; and a control unit 90. The control unit 90 decouples the engine 10 and the first rotor 31 with the clutch 50 when the rotation speed of the first rotor 31 becomes smaller than or equal to the rotation speed of the second rotor 32 while supplying the AC power to the second winding 33b of the stator 33. |
