A system with the present invention applied is provided with: a first computer that has mounted thereon an interface card that has installed thereon an access function for accessing a storage apparatus, and a communication function for executing communication via a network; and a second computer that is connected, via the network, to the interface card installed on the first computer. This system makes, when the second computer transmits data to be stored to the interface card via the network, the interface card process the data to be stored that is to be received from the second computer, and save the data to be stored into a first storage apparatus that is a storage apparatus connected to the interface card.
