PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcohol on exhalation detection device for preventing drunken driving and drowsy driving of a driver.SOLUTION: An alcohol on exhalation detection device includes: a housing equipped with an exhalation introducing port; a detection electrode 2a and a voltage applying electrode 1a provided in the housing so as to sandwich the exhalation introducing port; a power supply portion for applying voltage to the voltage applying electrode; a microammeter 4a separating and deflecting exhalation introduced into the housing by an electric field generated by the voltage applied from the power supply portion on the voltage applying electrode, and measuring that as a current value by the detection electrode; an alcohol detecting portion for detecting alcohol on the exhalation introduced into the housing; and a signal processing portion for processing an exhalation signal value measured by the ammeter and an alcohol signal value detected by the alcohol detecting portion. |
