PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible easily manufacturing a liquid crystal display element with a wide range view angle capable of low voltage driving and without causing colored black by setting so that a liquid crystal twisted angle of at least a display pixel area among respective display pixel areas is different from the liquid crystal twisted angles of other display pixel areas. SOLUTION: Transparent electrodes 3 answering to respective display areas of R, G, B are formed on a surface of a glass substrate 1, and an oriented film 4 is formed on the transparent electrodes 3, and a polarizing plate 5 is provided on the rear surface of the glass substrate 1. On the other hand, color filters 6 answering to respective display pixel areas of R, G, B are provided on the surface of the glass substrate 2, and a flattening layer 7 is formed on it. The transparent electrode 8 is formed on the flattened glass substrate 2 by the flattening layer 7, and further, the oriented film 9 is formed on the transparent electrode 8. Then, the liquid crystal twisted angle in an R pixel in 73 deg., the liquid crystal twisted angle in a G pixel in 88 deg. and the liquid crystal twisted angle in a B pixel in 120 deg. are set respectively. |
