Disclosed are a method and device for pushing information to a mobile terminal. Locations which a user is likely to be interested in are judged according to contact person information stored by the user, and these locations are recommended to the user according to a certain sequence. According to the technical solution of the present invention, the contact person information which is stored in different applications in a user mobile terminal is gathered and summarized together for analysis, and the associations among a variety of applications are taken into account to allow the potential functions of this information to be exerted to a greater extent, improving the utilization rate of information resources. Particularly, according to the absolute quantity of each location appearing or the degrees of how close contact persons are to the user, these locations can be arranged in a sequence, which is most likely to be desired by the user to receive regional pushed information, with no need for the user to search on his/her own, reducing the blindness when the user is making a choice, saving the user's time, bringing convenience for acquiring pushed information about other regions by the user, and improving the user experience. |
