The gear (6) has a separation sheet (1) i.e. steel sheet, including an air inlet opening for an impeller, and arranged on a side of the impeller, where the side axially faces away from the gear. The sheet separates a pressure chamber of a fan (5) and a suction chamber of the fan. A fan shroud (9) is formed as a nozzle (3) in an air outlet region so that an escaping air flow flows along a gear housing. The nozzle is produced by adjusting a rear edge of the fan shroud or designed as the adjusted rear edge of the shroud, where the adjustment has an angle ranging between 10 degrees and 40 degrees. The impeller is a radial impeller.
