PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension type flexible tube in which destruction of a flexible pipe is prevented by regulating extension of the flexible pipe as further as possible and the functionality of the flexible tube can be recovered/maintained, even when a big axial force equal to or more than breaking a blade acts on the flexible tube in earthquake or the like.SOLUTION: An extension type flexible tube 1 comprises: a flexible pipe; a straight pipe part connected to an end portion of the flexible pipe; a first blade externally mounted to the flexible pipe; a first fixing part for fixing an end portion of the first blade to a proximal end side in an axial direction of the straight pipe part and closer to the side of the flexible pipe; a second blade externally mounted to the first blade; and a second fixing part for fixing an end portion of the second blade to an another end side in the axial direction of the straight pipe part and away from the side of the flexible pipe. In the second fixing part, an axial rupture strength of a connecting part for connecting the second blade to the straight pipe part is lower than an axial tensile rupture strength of the first blade and the second blade. |
