The present invention relates to a dry double clutch assembly. A double clutch (20) of the assembly includes: an annular casing (3) forming the outer body of a transmission; a main diaphragm spring (5) for pressurizing a main disc (17) through a main pressurizing plate (19) by being buried in the annular casing; an assistant diaphragm spring (7) for pressurizing an assistant disc (13) through an assistant pressurizing plate (13) by being combined to the same axis as the annular casing; and a cover plate (9) which is interposed between the main diaphragm spring and the assistant diaphragm disc, and supports the main diaphragm disc and the assistant diaphragm disc. During traveling, the main diaphragm disc makes the main disc be clutch-combined, and the assistant diaphragm disc makes the assistant disc be clutch-released. When changing speed, the main diaphragm disc makes the main disc be clutch-released, and the assistant diaphragm disc makes the assistant disc be clutch-combined. Therefore, torque disconnection generated when changing speed can be solved by clutch combination of the assistant clutch.
