PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can improve operability of a worker in connecting work of a device to a terminal provided to an interface surface.SOLUTION: An electric equipment box 5 storing a board for processing signals from a computer, a telephone line, a wireless LAN or the like is arranged on an opposite side from an operating section 2 across an image forming unit 3. One surface of the electric equipment box 5 comprises an interface surface 5a for connection with the LAN, a USB and the telephone line or the like and for providing an opening for adapters for inserting a memory card such as an SD card and a CF card, and space X is provided continuing toward a front surface so that the connection can be easily performed from a position and a direction where an operation to the operating section 2 can be easily performed. Accordingly, a LAN terminal or the like to be connected to the interface surface 5a can be made visible through the space X from the front surface side of an image forming apparatus body 10. |
