PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device where the deterioration of developer is reduced and which is easily and inexpensively manufactured at the developing device used in an electrophotographic recording device or an electrostatic recording device or the like and selectively shifting toner to a latent image made by the difference of electrostatic potential so that the image is made visualizable. SOLUTION: This developing device possesses a developer carrier 4 provided so as to be in the proximity of or brought into contact with an image carrier 1 where an electrostatic latent image is formed on a surface, and is provided with a cylindrical member where the developer carrier is supported to be revolved and a magnetic field generating member 11 supported at the inside of the cylindrical member. The magnetic field generating member 11 is provided with core material 12 that is cylindrical or columnar and possesses the groove 12a of an axial direction on a peripheral surface and a thin film-like magnetic material 13 that is arranged so as to surround the periphery of the core material 12 and where plural magnetic poles are magnetized along the peripheral surface, and the end part of the thin film-like magnetic material 13 is held and fixed between a bar-like member 14 fitted in the groove 12a and the inner wall surface of the groove 12a. Also, the core material 12 is made of magnetic material, and the magnetic material may be attracted to the core material 12 by the magnetic pole of the thin film-like magnetic material 13. |
