<p>The present invention addresses the problem of preventing the misalignment between the axes of a rubber plug within a rubber-plug holder and an end of an electrical wire, thereby enabling the rubber plug to be reliably inserted in the end of the electrical wire. In order to solve the problem, a rubber-plug insertion device (1) is adopted, the rubber-plug insertion device (1) being provided with: a rubber-plug holder (2) having a rubber-plug holding hole (20) and a pin insertion hole (21), which are connected to each other, the pin insertion hole (21) having a smaller diameter than the rubber-plug insertion hole (20); a rubber-plug holding pin (4) inserted in a slidable manner from the pin insertion hole (21) to the rubber-plug holding hole (20); a hook section (16) engaging with a recess (18) in the rubber-plug holder (2); and a pair of electrical-wire guides (13) capable of being opened and closed, the pair of electrical-wire guides (13) having electrical-wire guide bodies (13') which, when the hook section and the recess are engaged with each other, are in contact with an end surface (2a) of the rubber-plug holding hole (20), the end surface (2a) being located on the opening side of the rubber plug holding hole (20), and which support an end (8a) of an affixed-side electrical wire (8) so that the end (8a) can slide in the axial direction, the pair of electrical-wire guides (13) moving together with the rubber-plug holder (2) toward the end of the electrical wire.</p> |
