PURPOSE: A bottom chassis functioning as a reflective plate and a backlight module using the same are provided to simplify a manufacturing process by forming the bottom chassis with the same material and omitting a reflective plate. CONSTITUTION: Multiple direct-type LED(Light-Emitting Diode) lamps(120) are arranged on a bottom chassis(110) horizontally and vertically. A diffusion plate(130) is placed on the LED lamps. The side chassis and lower chassis of the bottom chassis are integrally formed with a polymer resin. The bottom chassis can function as a reflective plate. Polycarbonate, or a blend or a composite of copolyester and polycarbonate is used as a material for the bottom chassis. |
