<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant anchor for orthodontics without a risk of being loosened or dropping when attached inside the oral cavity. <P>SOLUTION: The implant anchor for orthodontics is for fixing an urging member for correcting the position of a tooth by applying the moving force to the tooth. The implant anchor includes a screw, a first engagement part, an intermediate part, a second engagement part and a head in this order in the direction from the distal end to the proximal end. Each of the two engagement parts has a truncated cone shape with an outer diameter at the end on the distal end side smaller than the outer diameter at the end on the proximal end side, and is engaged with an alveolar bone to stabilize the implant anchor. The intermediate part is a narrow portion between the two engagement parts, and has an affinity for the living tissue between alveolar bones to stabilize the implant anchor. The implant anchor may be formed to a dental corrective instrument by combining a bracket to be fixed to a tooth with the urging member for applying the moving force to the tooth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
