PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve storage efficiency by recording a movie with the plural sound tracks of different dialogue languages on a software carrier so as to eliminate redundant information. SOLUTION: A mixed master music & effect (M&E) track or a switch master M&E track is encoded on an optical disk 23. Though individual audio tracks are provided for a version characteristic of the language of the same movie, data is recorded only at a part with a dialog at these tracks. In most movies, data is recorded only in a time shorter than a half of the traveling time of the movie at tracks excepting for a master. When a mixed master does not include a dialogue but a track characteristic of a language is provided with a dialogue, the mixed master is mixed with this track. A switch master can include M&E and a dialogue when a track characteristic of a language includes the dialogue and M&E and when this track is reproduced, the switch master is excluded.
