PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite left/right handed transmission line capable of easily controlling the value of a capacitor and an inductor while keeping a thin shape. SOLUTION: The composite left/right handed transmission line includes a pair of first parallel conductor plates 41 which are disposed vertically to a ground plate 3, respectively and are parallel to each other; a pair of second parallel conductor plates 42, which are held between the pair of first parallel conductor plates 41 and are arranged in parallel; a conductor plate 43, which is held between the pair of second parallel conductor plates 42 arranged in parallel, and arranged such that one end on the side of the ground plate 3 is connected to the ground plate 3; a pair of first rod-like conductors 44, respectively connecting the pair of first parallel conductor plates 41 and the pair of second parallel conductor plates 42; a second rod-like conductor 45 for connecting the second parallel conductor plates 42 with one another; and a third rod-like conductor 46 for connecting the second rod-like conductor 45 and the ground plate 3. A pair of third parallel conductor plates 5 are arranged separate from the ground plate 3 and are arranged so as to hold a conductor unit 4 therebetween and be parallel with respect to the first parallel conductor plates 41.
