A cleaning process (F21) includes a pre-wash (F1) and at least one rinse (F22, F23) for dishes and cutlery before a drying process (F3). During the rinse fresh water is introduced into a wash tub and heated to reach a temperature set inside the tub. The drying process ensures water is drained from the tub by triggering suction extractors for steam trapped in the tub.
