A band of card is wrapped around top and base of the object (1). It is drawn tight, overlapped and adhered, forming a flat surrounding band (2), projecting from the ends. Corners are pressed-in at perforations or scores, stabilizing the band on the object, for transport. An Independent claim is included for the protection itself.
