Provided are a valve member and a butterfly valve using the same. The valve member includes: a body formed with a flowing passage and binding grooves on one and the other sides thereof; a first gasket formed with combining protrusions inserted and fixed to the grooves on one side of the body; and a second gasket formed with combining protrusions inserted and fixed to the grooves on the other side of the body.
