WATER LEVEL SENSOR AND TEST APPARATUS THE SAME

The present invention relates to a water level detector and a tester thereof, more particularly, a water level detector comprising a water level detector of an oil water separator installed in a fuel supply system of a diesel vehicle as a film type sensor and a tester thereof. The present invention as mentioned above includes: a separator installed in a fuel system of a vehicle for separating moisture included in fuel; a moisture storage unit for storing the moisture separated from the separator; and a sensor unit inserted into the inside of the moisture storage u nit for detecting a level of the moisture with a capacitive method. The sensor unit includes: an engagement unit for attaching and detaching to the moisture storage unit and an insertion unit for having an internal space unit which is protruding upward and is isolated from the inside of the water storage unit; a capacitive type proximity sensor which winds up a film material having a pattern with a conductive line and is inserted into the inside of the insertion unit; a PCB which is mounted in a lower side unit of the housing; a wire which supports the capacitive proximity sensor and PCB and electrically connects; a PC which executes a test program; an input/output board which provides test signals with a pulse shape from the PC to the capacitive proximity sensor and interfaces to provide sensing signals outputted from the capacitive proximity sensor; and a monitor which displays a result determined from the PC.
