PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionomer compsn. which furnishes a good silky appearance, a good printability and an adequate slipperiness, and is useful for use in a meltable bag, without damaging the rigidity and heat sealing characteristics of the ionomer and to provide a molded article thereof. SOLUTION: This ionomer compsn. comprises (A) 80-98 pts.wt. of an ethylene- unsatd. carboxylic acid copolymer having an unsatd. carboxylic acid content of 10-30 wt.%, and (B) 20-2 pts.wt. of a styrene-unsatd. carboxylic acid copolymer having an unsatd. carboxylic acid content of 5-40 wt.% and a Vicat softening point of 110 deg.C or more, wherein 5-70% of the total amt. of carboxy groups in the above-described (A) and (B) is neutralized by a metal ion.
