PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary anode type X-ray tube stable in rotation over a long period, and capable of maintaining an excellent rotational balance. SOLUTION: In this rotary anode type X-ray tube having an anode target 12 for generating an X-ray, a support shaft 13 for fixing this anode target 12, and a rotary body 15 joined to this support shaft 13, a hole 16 is arranged so as to pass through respective parts of the support shaft 13 and the rotary body 15, and a pin 17 is driven in a part of the hole 16.
