Provided is an electrode assembly which includes: a plurality of unit cells in which a first separator consisting of three layers of polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) successively arranged is inserted between an anode and a cathode; and a second separator which consists of a consecutive single layer of polypropylene (PP) arranged between the unit cells which are adjacent to each other to face in a laminated form to cover each unit cell. According to the present invention, the electrode assembly maintains stability of a battery and largely reduces manufacturing costs for the battery.
