<p>The present invention relates to an excessive vacuum preventing device for the vegetable chamber of a refrigerator and the vegetable chamber having the same, and, more specifically, to a device and the vegetable chamber of a refrigerator, wherein the device is to release a high vacuum condition in the vegetable chamber using atmospheric pressure outside and to maintain the proper degree of vacuum in the vegetable chamber in order to prevent the generation of the excessive vacuum condition in the vegetable chamber when a vacuum condition is generated in the vegetable chamber by operating an vacuum pump for improving the degree of vacuum after sealing the inside of the housing space of a vegetable box. According to the present invention, the vegetable chamber of a refrigerator comprises: the vegetable box including a front side part and a main body, having the housing space inside the same, and installed to be able to be drawn from the refrigerator, wherein the housing space is the storage space of vegetables; a drawer sealing the inside of the vegetable box; and the excessive vacuum preventing device installed to be inserted into the vegetable box and releasing the high vacuum condition in the vegetable chamber by ventilating the inside of the vegetable chamber with the outside when the excessive vacuum condition is generated inside the vegetable chamber.</p> |
