A wall-mounted air conditioner is provided into which an air purifying device can be easily and reliably fixed. For this purpose, the air conditioner includes: a main body having an air intake port in a top portion and an air discharge port in a bottom portion; a cover provided on a front portion of the main body; a fan provided inside the main body to draw in air from the air intake port and send the air to the air discharge port; a heat exchanger provided between the air intake port and the fan; a filter provided so as to cover the heat exchanger from the same side as the cover; a fixed frame provided between the filter and the heat exchanger; and an air purifying device provided in the fixed frame on the same side as the filter. When installation of the air purifying device provided in the fixed frame on the same side as the filter is incomplete, the air purifying device is fixed in the fixing frame by pushing on the filter in which the closed cover has been pushed.
