Disclosed is a vehicle telematics unit capable of preventing erroneous operation. The telematics unit is configured to input a voltage signal generated by call button, a user operates, to a micom and a central processing unit which determines at least one performing action among telephone connection and a micom reset by using a combination of the voltage signal input generated by an input from the micom and the call button. Therefore, the present invention can prevent incorrect telephone connection and unrequested telephone connection due to the micom erroneous operation.
