The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating ballast water for ships with ultraviolet rays, and more particularly, to an apparatus for treating ballast water with ultraviolet rays, having an assembly type reed switch, wherein the reed switch of the apparatus has a magnet inserted therein and is coupled by assembly to prevent the deformation of the magnet by welding. A cover member for sealing an accommodation groove, after an elastic member and the magnet are inserted into the accommodation groove of the reed switch, is made of a non-metal material to prevent corrosion between heterogeneous metals caused by metal components in the ballast water. A protrusion is formed on the inner surface of the accommodation groove of the reed switch, where the cover member is joined, and a protrusion joint groove for accommodating and joining the protrusion is formed on the cover member to effectively prevent the joint between the accommodation groove and the cover member from being loosened by the elasticity of the elastic member. Obliquely chamfered tapering parts are formed separately on a surface facing the opened region of the accommodation groove among the protruding surfaces of the protrusion, and near a step between a first outer circumference surface and a second outer circumference surface in the cover member to enable the cover member to be easily inserted into the accommodation groove despite the protrusion. The cover member includes a stopper protruding outwardly from the second outer circumference surface and adhering to one end of the accommodation groove to accurately adjusting the depth of the insertion of the cover member into the accommodation groove. |
