The problem addressed by the disclosed invention is to provide a wearable power assist system that is lightweight and can assist in a variety of scenarios. The means for resolving the problem addressed by the disclosed invention is selecting a joint to assist in accordance with activity, and transmitting force generated by an actuator to an assisting exoskeleton in a manner so as to assist said joint.
