The method involves forming a linear profile by extrusion of a sector, where the linear profile realizes a veil (3) of a wheel set. A form of the sector is adapted to form openings (31, 33) of the veil during the extrusion step, where a central part of a wheel (1) is fixed on a hub of the wheel by the veil. The linear profile is divided into sections after the extrusion step, where each section forms a right revolution cylinder to form the veil. An opening is formed in a center part of the linear profile, and another opening is regularly positioned in periphery of the former opening. An independent claim is also included for a wheel for a vehicle.
