<p>The present invention is applicable to the field of communications, and provides a parameter configuration method, a base station, and a user equipment (UE). The method comprises: a base station determining whether a service type of a UE is a sparse packet service; when the service type of the UE is the sparse packet service, the base station determining a discontinuous reception (DRX) parameter of the sparse packet service; the base station sending the DRX parameter to the UE, the DRX parameter being used by the UE to perform DRX control. In the present invention, when the base station determines that the service type of the UE is the sparse packet service, the corresponding DRX parameter is configured for the UE, so as to reduce terminal power consumption of the UE.</p> |
