An objective of the present invention application is to provide a solid-state image capture element optical filter which rectifies defects which a conventional optical filter such as a near-infrared cut filter would have, has a small entry angle dependency even in near-ultraviolet wavelength regions, and has superior visual light pass-through characteristics, and a device which uses the optical filter. This solid-state image capture element optical filter comprises: a transparent resin substrate including a chemical compound (X) having an absorption local maximum in the 300-420nm wavelengths, and a chemical compound (Y) having an absorption local maximum in the 600-800nm wavelengths; and a near-infrared reflective film on at least one face of the substrate.
