<p>[Problem] To provide a suspension control device that can calculate to a high level of accuracy the quantity of state of a vehicle provided with the damping force control of a damper, regardless of the caster angle at which suspension is set. [Solution] A suspension control device (20) for a motor vehicle (V), said motor vehicle (V) comprising a variable damping force damper (6) that enables the damping force to be adjusted according to wheel speed (Vw). The suspension control device (20) comprises: wheel speed sensors (9), which detect the wheel speed (Vw) of each of the wheels (3); a gain circuit (37), which calculates the unsprung weight (u1) of each of the wheels (3) on the basis of wheel speed fluctuation (DeltaVw) detected by the wheel speed sensors (9); a single wheel model calculation unit (33), which calculates sprung speed (S2) and stroke speed (Ss) by inputting the unsprung weight (u1) into the single wheel model (38) that indicates vehicle behaviour; and a damper control unit (25), which controls the damping force of the variable damping force damper (6) on the basis of the calculated sprung speed (S2) and stroke speed (Ss).</p> |
