A liquid crystal display panel (1) comprises a first polarizer (10) and a second polarizer (11) that are disposed in parallel; a liquid crystal box (12) disposed between the first polarizer and the second polarizer; and an optical compensation film group (13) disposed between one of the first polarizer and the second polarizer and the liquid crystal box. The optical compensation film group enables light penetrating through the optical compensation film group to generate first phase delay, and the first phase delay is used for compensating for second phase delay generated when the light penetrates through the liquid crystal box. The liquid crystal display panel can compensate for phase delay generated when the light penetrates through a liquid crystal, reduce the color cast phenomenon or color dispersion of a liquid crystal panel in a dark state, enlarge a display viewing angle, and improve the LCD display quality.
